RPM Welcomes Jonathan Chaires to the San Antonio Office

A native of San Antonio, Jonathan is a proud graduate of Central Catholic High School and the University of the Incarnate Word, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government with minors in Criminal Justice and Philosophy. Thereafter, Jonathan attended St. Mary's University School of Law, where he was a Staff Writer for The Scholar: St. Mary's Law Review on Race and Social Justice and a Student Attorney for St. Mary's Center for Legal and Social Justice. Prior to joining our firm, Jonathan gained valuable legal experience at the Bexar County Felony Drug Court; the Bexar County Criminal District Attorney's Office, the Office of the City Attorney of San Antonio, and a family law practice firm. From 2019 to 2021, Jonathan worked as an Associate Attorney, focusing his practice on first- and third-party insurance litigation.

Jonathan is a recipient of the Bexar Country Felony Drug Court's Lady Justice Award for his exceptional volunteer work and commitment to helping those with severe substance abuse issues. As a staff writer for The Scholar, Jonathan received credit with Honors for his comment on the expansion of Specialty Courts in Texas. In 2020, Jonathan was named a board member for the University of the Incarnate Word Alumni Association. Jonathan enjoys running, tennis, basketball, and biking.
